One Way Productions grew out of a local Boston label/production company formed in the mid 80's by Brooks Whelan, David Pearce and Jill Weinstein to record Boston Underground music by bands in the Punk, Rock, and Alternative Rock categories. Enigma/Capitol, TAANG!, American Music, OY[Europe/UK], and Throbbing Lobster have all released material produced by One Way. We have release on our label the following bands: THE OUTLETS, SHAKE THE FAITH, LEFT NUT and LAST STAND. We pay attention to the quality and character of the music in our studio production through commercial release. This has paid off with 1 Billboard recommended album [Whole New World by THE OUTLETS], 2 Maximum Rock & Roll recommended albums by LAST STAND [Approved Cuts, Faith In Fate] and 2 Boston Music Award winning albums [Devils Night Outt {Mighty Mighty Bosstones on TAANG!} and Shake The Faith {self titled]. Left Nut went to the semi finals of the 1990 WBCN Boston Rock & Roll Rumble and almost took it all with their no wimps blend of Punk Rock and Beer Drinking Southern Slam..Earlier versions of “Last Train” and “Inside My Shoes” received substantial New England air play and topped many college radio play lists; the German label, Nasty Vinyl's, release of “Last Train” drew rave reviews in Europe. The digitally mastered CD, “Bad Attitude No Apologies”, contains all new performances. In 2000, Natalie Flanagan's live recording of "Number One" achieved the number one USA chart position on Mp3.com for 5 months in the Punk/Garage genre and another live song "Lost At Sea" acheived a similar chart position on Mp3.boston.com.
